In February, representatives from employee hardship fund organizations across the United States convened at the Hope Awards to recognize leadership and innovation in employee hardship and relief programs. The event celebrated the meaningful impact these programs have in supporting employees during some of life’s most challenging moments.
During the ceremony, Fresenius Medical care received a notable honor: the inaugural Storyteller of the Year Award. This new award recognizes organizations that use authentic, compelling testimonials to build trust, inspire hope, and strengthen engagement.
The judging panel highlighted the CARES Fund’s distinctive storytelling approach, commending the “successful use of video and written testimonials to build trust in the relief fund and encourage both applicant and donor engagement.” This recognition is a direct result of the courage of our grant recipients, who share their experiences to help others feel supported in seeking assistance —or inspired to donate.
